You gotta go to know! That is an expression one of my uncles always tells me. So when my friend invited me to The Barclays World Tour Tennis Finals, I didn’t know what to expect. My friend, Susan grew up in the tennis world, her dad was a pro and she is a skilled player and very knowledgable about the sport. Last year, she attended Wimbeldon where she became a fan of the Bryan Brothers, who are 35 year old identical twins who happen to be the most successful doubles team in tennis history. Unfortunately we watched the winning streak come to an end last night against the British duo David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco.
As we eagerly awaited the Singles match to begin between Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, I had the pleasure of visiting with the former World Number 1, six time Grand Slam singles champion, Olympic Gold medalist, and the youngest ever men’s single title at Wimbeldon at the age of 17, none other than Boris Becker!!
