I had planned to blog/share a rather light hearted article I came across about vibrators today, but because tragedy hangs so heavy with the beheading of James Foley, I will save it for another time.

It is personally difficult for me to imagine stepping on and squelching the life out of a spider. I can’t even begin to fathom slicing off someone’s head. I guess the only thing we can do is pray for the soul of James Foley and for the souls of the madmen who conjure up, carry out and condone these barbaric acts. How one can find the desire in his consciousness and in his heart to inflict such suffering on someone is incomprehensible. But that is the world we live in. Let’s hope that hostage Steven Sotloff will not meet the same fate as Jim did.

This world is a crazy place. God is either laughing at us or crying for us. I’ll share the article next week. It will still be light hearted.
