Dana lives in Seattle, and Tracie lives in Germany. We are businesswomen, writers and humorists. We write about life, dating, and today's modern women.
That was really a clever post Dani.
I was thinking I would take it a step further (what with the food thing and all) and talk about your, mine and mom’s visit to the Madison Park ice cream parlor and how I just gorged myself on the Rocky Road (which took me back to my childhood), the Cookies and Cream (which I’d never tried before) and that chocolate concoction with the big ass hunks of chocolate and nuts (the name of which escapes me now), but as they say in German, was so “lecker” (tasty).
I thought I’d describe these creamed delights in detail, how they made me feel at the time of consumption and the uh…day after.
Would I say WTF was I thinking? Or Wasn’t That Fabulicious? And while I was pondering this, I heard a ping here at computer and saw that I had received an email from Karen Miles that made me laugh and decided to share the laughter this Thursday.
He didn’t like the casserole
And he didn’t like my cake
He said my biscuits were too hard
Not like his mother used to make
I don’t perk the coffee right
He didn’t like the stew
I don’t mend his socks
The way his mother used to do
I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue
Then I turned around and
Smacked the shit out of him
Like his mother used to do.
Wasn’t That Funny?? Happy Thursday everybody.
