Dana lives in Seattle, and Tracie lives in Germany. We are businesswomen, writers and humorists. We write about life, dating, and today's modern women.
Dear friends and family,
I am honored to have been named honorary chair for this event!
Dana and I, your Menopausebarbees, recently accepted the challenge of participating in the Walk for 1 in 100 to raise funds for research, advocacy and programs dedicated to fighting congenital heart disease (CHD)—the most common birth defect in the world. If you’ve read my book, Incompatible with Nature–A Mother’s Story, you understand why this cause is so very near and dear to our hearts.
The Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) is devoted to supporting the full lifespan of the millions of people impacted by CHD. In 2019, walks will be held in 14 USA communities to raise money for outreach, advocacy, education, research and more.
PLEASE support our fundraising efforts with a donation. Any amount, great or small, helps in the fight against CHD. Here is the link:
We greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on our progress.
And if you’re in Seattle and you’d like to join our Menopausebarbees team, we’d love to have you!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
