SeaFair Sartorial Splendour

Ahhh. . . the wonders of a woman’s sartorial splendour.

With just a couple of days to go until The Event here in Seattle–namely the SeaFair USO Ball, I would dare to imagine that quite a few of us are digging through our closets and making stacks:

There is naturally the maybe stack – as in I haven’t worn this special occasion dress/gown in years – if I can still shimmy into it and if I have the right hide the bunion shoes this just might work out!;

Or the this could definitely be the one stack – I can surely decide between these two items–nobody has seen them on me yet!;

And of course the if I starve myself for the next 2 and a half days this just might be the one outfit;

And we certainly can’t forget the imaginary stack where we wonder what everybody else will be wearing.

Getting dressed up is a lot of the fun in prepping for these kinds of events. Fun is the key word here. With the dress code encompassing everything from gowns to getting wild, there will be room enough for everyone to shine in his/her sartorial splendour. There are also tutorials and apps out there to give you some extra coaching in getting pretty tips f you so desire. There are still a few tickets available at www.mercer events.com.

The main thing is to have fun and PLEASE don’t forget to wear a
smile! After all, we are benefitting our local USO SeaTac Housing Facility.
