Your Life- What’s the Price Tag?

Jimmy Kimmel’s defense of Obama Care and treatment for pre-existing conditions hit close to home for our family.  As most of our friends and readers are aware, my nephew was born with a rare congenital heart defect discovered at birth.  My sister chronicles her fight for his survival in her Kirkus acclaimed book, Incompatible With Nature – A Mother’s Story www.traciemayer.com.  My nephew was born in Germany and although this was over 3 decades ago, in addition to my sister fighting the hard fight, he survived excellent medical coverage which covered surgeries in the U.S. and abroad.

When I look at my nephew thriving, against most doctors odds, there is no doubt in my mind that we all deserve and are entitled to health care.

Bravo, Jimmy Kimmel for using your platform to bring awareness.  If you or your loved ones fall under unfortunate circumstances where you need medical intervention to save your life, I assure you, you can’t put a price tag on it!
