Dana lives in Seattle, and Tracie lives in Germany. We are businesswomen, writers and humorists. We write about life, dating, and today's modern women.
I read an amazing book called Anatomy of an Illness where the author describes how he healed himself through the gift of laughter. He locked himself in a hotel room with a series of the most hysterical movies he could find and laughed and laughed until his mental mood improved, and remarakably he found his physical condition healed.
I believe in the power of laughter. People who take themselves way too seriously or are afraid of what others might think or feel are missing out on one of life’s greatest joys!
Believe me… I have the biggest case of foot in mouth disease, but as the years have gone by- I make no apologies. I have told jokes that are inappropriate, in poor taste and often times downright raunchy. As my mama, the ultimate “lady” says… I did my best, I guess I got those genes from my father’s side.
Case in point at my extended family birthday celebration, I shared a story that when my son was two he saw me naked getting out of the shower and exclaimed, “Mama I see your possum!!”
My uncle- the funniest man on the planet said to me… “Dana, do you know how F—-n ugly a possum is”
I said – “Hey this is awesome possum!
He then gave me my bithday present -a t-shirt that says Hello Titty with Hello Kitty in humongous boobs- Yes, I will be wearing it and I think that is hysterical!
