Dana lives in Seattle, and Tracie lives in Germany. We are businesswomen, writers and humorists. We write about life, dating, and today's modern women.
Dana and I–your Menopausebarbees–need your help!
We have accepted the challenge of participating in the Walk for 1 in 100 to raise funds for research, advocacy and programs dedicated to fighting congenital heart disease (CHD)—the most common birth defect in the world. If you’ve read Incompatible with Nature–A Mother’s Story, you understand why this cause is so very near and dear to our hearts. I am honored to announce that I have been named honorary chair for this awesome event.
The Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) is devoted to supporting the full lifespan of the millions of people impacted by CHD. In 2019, walks will be held in 14 USA communities to raise money for outreach, advocacy, education, research and more.
PLEASE support our fundraising efforts with a donation. ANY amount, even $5.00 will help in the fight against CHD–and you can donate anonymously, so please do!
Go to: http://secure.achaheart.org/goto/Menopausebarbees; at top of page highlight DONATE then click on DONATE TO INDIVIDUAL ; type in Tracie Mayer (and you will see team name Menopausebarbees) then click DONATE NOW. Easy as that!
We greatly, greatly, greatly appreciate your support. The walk is this coming Saturday beginning at 9 A.M. And if you’d like to join our Menopausebarbees team, we’d love to have you.
Where: Seattle Center, International Fountain 305 Harrison Street, Seattle WA 98109
Time: Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 10:00 a.m. Parking is available in all Seattle Center lots.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
