... the tales of two sisters

Dana lives in Seattle, and Tracie lives in Germany. We are businesswomen, writers and humorists. We write about life, dating, and today's modern women.

Art Is…Valerie Collymore and Jeanne Romano

I have always been enamored by those who have an artistic talent. Truth be told, I still draw stick people, and my 12 year old daughter moans when she has an art project and needs my assistance. Our artistic grades have suffered ever since our dear friend, Karen Miles moved back East, however, God compensates and I’ve always been good with words. I can beat almost anyone with the game, Hang Man, although my drawing as seen below is still pathetic, and my man screams HELP ME!

Today, I am thrilled to spotlight two of my girlfriends, Menopausebarbees who unlike me, were born with a keen eye, majestic fingers and an incredible artistic gift.

The talented Valerie Collymore creates truly some of the most exquisite oil paintings from America and France. For the past several years, Valerie has participated in my annual fundraiser Shop for a Cause which supports for Treehouse Foster Kids. Our family and friends who have purchased her pieces are tremendous fans of her artistic vision and renderings.

The Spotlight also shines today on my girlfriend, the gifted Jeanne Romano (My Little Pony) as she has given us in the Pacific Northwest another reason to love coffee! As recently shown on the television program, New Day Northwest, you will never look at your cup of java the same way!

Please check out the links below and support these two Menopausebarbees. Their art is timeless, and their talent a treasure!
