My daughter, Taryn is turning 12 tomorrow! I am so inspired by a guild that she participates in called The Pink Bandanas. This group of 11 -12 year olds raise money for pediatric brain tumor research at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The girls started the guild in honor of their friend Sara who lost her brave battle with a brain tumor at age 9. When Sarah was going through chemotherapy, and lost her hair, she always wore a Pink Bandana on her head.
Since the guild formed in 2012, they have raised over $8,000!
Here is a look at the Pink Bandana’s and other Guild Associations reminding us all that Ain’t No Mountain High Enough!
